How does a Traeger grill light?

On the control panel, turn the knob to Smoke and then flip the power switch on. This turns on the fan motor and the auger starts feeding pellets into the firebox. After about 4 minutes, the grill starts smoking. When you see a good amount of white smoke close the lid and set the knob to the desired temperature.

Our pellet grills use an auger to move wood pellets from the hopper, to the fire pot within the grill. Once in the fire pot, a hot rod ignites the pellets, starting a fire. A fan then stokes the flames, creating convection heat, (just like an oven) to cook your food in the grill evenly.

If a LEr error code has appeared on your display of a grill, it means the temperature of the grill is less than 125 degrees Fahrenheit. It may happen if you set it for a low and slow smoke, or maybe you ran out of pellets or they are too dusty and the fire pot is too dirty and stuffed.

Does the Traeger Pro 575 smoke setting?

You now have to lift the entire front before you can move the grill. Also, the Traeger Pro 575 does not feature an actual Smoke Function as we have seen it on the Pro 22 and 34. However, a fine smoke ring can still be achieved on the Pro 575.
